We are newly remodeled and open right across from the cafeteria at the entrance of the 200 Block.
The library assists students with library books, textbooks, and laptops. Stop by to say hi, find a book, check out our new selection of manga, or settle down to do your homework!

Use the search bar below to browse the Righetti library catalog. The library is now genrefied to make finding your next read easier. If there is a specific book you want or more of a genre you want to explore, share your thoughts with us!
Log in using your student email address and network password to search the catalog, place holds, make book purchase requests, and view current checkouts and fines.
Laptops
The Santa Maria Joint Union High School District provides each student with a district owned laptop computer to be used for academic purposes.
Students are expected to bring their charged laptop to school daily.
If you are experiencing any issues with your laptop, visit the student computer technician in the library to seek support or report damage.
Current replacement cost for student laptop chargers: Lenovo USB-C Charger - $44.00 in the Business Office
Lockers
-Limited availability- All students are not guaranteed a locker!!
FIRST, Put a lock on your desired locker
THEN, Report your locker letter and number to the library (Example: A-300)
MasterLock combination padlock is recommended. See the library for a lock if needed*
*while supplies last
Any locker misuse results in suspension of locker privileges. Lockers can be searched at any time.
Group Study Rooms
The new group study rooms are available for use and student reservations are on a first come first served basis when open or can be made in advance for groups of two or more.
Students must check in and out with library staff.
Tutoring
Tutoring is held in the library on Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays from 7:30 am to 9:30 am 3:00- 5:00 pm.
24/7 tutoring is also still available. Access Tutor.com links through Canvas under the Advisement Cortez class.Databases
Britannica, Gale, and ProQuest are great credible resources to utilize for your school assignments. California K-12 Digital Resources are provided through the CA State Library.
Access the databases through Destiny to the right. Log in with your school email and password for full access.
